St Katharines Dock east of the Great Tower of London and Tower Bridge, a lovely marina rather hidden behind the more well know tourist attractions.
Home to high end offices and restaurants it is a true hidden gem in the city, full of character and history.
Today was a very relaxed lunch, walking around the dock, passing the enamel panels for Cloisters Walk and just enjoying the pretty atmosphere.
The very wonderful works of David Wynne Girl with a Dolphin 1973, a fountain and sculpture looked stunning with Tower Bridge and the Shard as a back drop.
With the weather reaching a very pleasant 23 degrees, London got a taste of what’s to come this summer. What will I do tomorrow I wonder.
