A very busy brilliant Sunday

Most people have a lay in on Sundays. Not me, today was jam packed, full. To start off the day I made a trip to Chelsea Old Town Hall for the March Frock Me Vintage Fair located on the famous Kings Road, Londons leading vintage fashion and textile fair, the fourth for me http://www.frockmevintagefashion.com. Although it was raining outside, inside was yet again filled with beautiful iconic and vintage pieces, ranging from Chanel 1920’s Necklaces to Burberry Trench Coats. The charming hall has a Tea Room too.  First established at Kensington Town Hall in the 1990’s, its now an event I scribble in my diary when new dates pop up, the next being Sunday the 26th 2015.

Next on the list was the Saatchi Gallery www.saatchigallery.com, Londons gallery for contemporary art, opened by Charles Saatchi in 1985. After running from the Old Town Hall to the Gallery because of the rain #LondonWeather I had a walk around the exhibitions. One that probably stuck out the most was the room filled of Sump Oil by Richard Wilson, 20:50. The room is filled to waist height with recycled engine oil. It was smooth and reflected the ceiling and surroundings like a mirror. I couldn’t stay in there too long though because of the oil smell.

Looking forward to this evening!
